It’s been two years, so I guess we were due for a new one. FontFont issues the new 2009 catalogue of the FontFont Type Library, which features an overview of all the fonts up to the very recent Release 46.
A handy overview at the front lists all the FontFonts which are available in OpenType, and specifies which include additional accented characters, Greek and/or Cyrillic. Another list introduces the new and improved FontFont Collections, which allow you to save up to 20% by purchasing whole font families (which consist of a number of volumes) at once.
FontShop BeNeLux customers can request their free copy by sending us their name and postal address in an e-mail; art and design students, type enthusiasts and whoever else may be interested (BeNeLux residents only!) who can give us a very good reason can receive one as well.
Well... I've still got a gift certificate for a typeface from fontshop - I'd almost certainly need the catalogue to make up my mind which one te get. Would that qualify as a good enough reason?

That's more than good enough. :D Send us your address in an e-mail and we'll send the new FontFont catalogue your way.

congratulations for the new catalogue. Are there copies available for font foundries providers like me?
best regards

Hi Alejandro, I didn't know you read Unzipped! :) Get in touch with FSI, they'll certainly send you a copy. BTW Everybody check Alejandro Lo Celso's beautiful and sensual Latin type designs on http://www.fontshop.com/fonts/foundry/pampatype/ ;)

Hey,
I recently bought the Fontbook. This was the version of 2006, so I could use some updates... Is it possible to send me the catalogues with all the updates since that edition? Cheerio

There are never real "updates" to the FontBook, but we can send you miscellaneous catalogues and brochures with new stuff. Just send us an e-mail with your full contact details and we'll send you a pile.

Plus make sure to sign in for the e-mail newsletters. A lot of our information goes out digitally these days.
