FontPool was but the first part – now comes the real deal. FontShop BeNeLux will give away ten (10!) FontBooks to as many participants who send us nice holiday pictures involving type. It can be whatever, wherever: authentic found type as well as completely fabricated scenes. Try to make it look as fun and summer-y and holiday-ish as possible
The contest starts now and ends Sunday night August 31st at midnight. It is open to anyone living in the Benelux – Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg –, customers and non-customers alike, students and professionals, men and women, straight and gay, all races, all religions, no restrictions, no boundaries. So send me some fun pictures, and make sure that I don’t have to do anything to post your entry in the gallery which will appear in a future post (see technical details below).
Procedure
Send me an e-mail (unzipper{at}fontshop{dot}be) with FontPool in the subject line. This is crucial because I filter my incoming e-mails: no FontPool in the subject line means I won’t see your submission. Include your name and address in the message and the image in attachment.
The image must be saved for web (Save for Web... command in Adobe Photoshop) as a simple JPEG (no progressive JPEG!) High Quality RGB image, measuring exactly 440 pixels wide and minimum 100 to maximum 500 pixels high.
The file name must read “YourFullName_FontPool.jpeg”. Substitute “YourFullName” with your actual name (no spaces).
And to coax you into participating, below is a little ‘behind-the-scenes’ about our own photo shoot.
